My sister told me she’d love a post of all the sweet things Cree does for me. So I’ll try to summarize a list of a million in one blog post.
It’s easy to write this because I’ve never met a man who’s treated me better or sweeter.
- Cree is a man of service, I remember when we first started dating, he used to cook for me almost every course. He found pleasure in feeding me, seeing my face when I tested his food and took pride on knowing he was such a great cook.
- He knows I love taking pictures. And I remember when we went on our first baecation to Turks&Caicos— he full committed to being my photographer. And has never slacked since then. He will literally sit in the position I want to capture so I can see how the vision will look.
- If we have a super lit night and I don’t make it to the bathroom to my wash my face, best believe he will be found aggressively taking my makeup off with my cetaphil wipes. And take it a step further, he will help me cut my sew ins out. And boy do I be struggling 😭
- He takes his time with me; always thinking before raising his voice with me, choosing gentle love before anything else and always putting my feelings first.
- Cree buys me flowers every time he goes to the market, and even went as far as letting me know I’m not allowed to, simply because I won’t understand how important it is for him to pick flowers that reflect my beauty.
- He makes me smoothies. Rubs my booty. Showers me in kisses. Always takes my hand.
- My favorite thing when Cree and I are out and about in a mixy crowd is when he locks eyes with me and sends me a wink. Cree always finds time to make me feel special.
- Cree puts extra effort into showing me the shows and music that he loves. I love to learn him through different facets. What he was raised watching, what his favorite things are, and things that influenced the man he is today. The other day he said “Janesha, once a week I want us to sit down and watch a movie of my choosing.”
- On our mini moon after we got married privately, Cree and I walked to dinner while we were staying downtown. I wore the wrong shoes and Cree didn’t hesitate to take his off and walk in his socks. And yes, we could’ve called an Uber— but one thing about us, we love making memories.
- Cree makes it easy to love him. There’s nothing better than hearing the bellows of his laugh, holding each other as we continue to overcome small challenges and repeating the simple things like ordering from the same restaurant over and over again.
There’s so much sweetness and softness in this marriage and I could’ve never even thought this up.
Of course there many things I’ve missed. But just know that Cree never does.
All my love
